Wetbulb world bakes in unlivable heat
Venus smiles across space at her new twin
Going through conversion therapy
To rid her of the biological baggage
She has been carrying for millions of years
So many limits holding her back
Proper temperature, oxygen and water
No problem with the switch to a sulfur atmosphere
Only satan could survive there
As heaven melts away revealing the Rubicon in flames
And Republicans call for offshore drilling
From their fireproof yachts turned molten
There was a time when this was paradise
But it wasn’t enough to have everything
And so in the mad quest for more
There is now nothing left alive
In a universe that cares not a wit
